Welcome to Isabel’s
Creative Liberation Free Workshop:

Before you begin watching the workshop, please have a pen and paper or something to write with close by! You will be prompted to reflect and write at various points throughout the workshop about yourself and your own desires, blocks, fears, ideas and what the world could look like if you showed up fully within it…

The prompts in the workshop are listed below this video, for you to copy and paste as Isabel guides you through them, if you are typing out your answers on your computer.

Prompts

  • Discover your inner nature by looking for your blind spots.

    • What could you talk about endlessly?

    • What is the topic that, if you found someone else at a party that was into the same subject matter, you would be happy to speak with them in a corner for the rest of the night?

    • What feels like play to you but looks like work to others?

    • What do others admire about you, encourage you to lean into, ask for your perspective on?

    • What do people seek your advice on?

    • What are you “known for” amongst your peer group/people close to you?

  • What surprised you about what you just wrote?

    • What does it feel like to act from this place of ease and effortlessness?

    • How often do you let this part of yourself roam free?

    • What do you like to do most when you are allowing this part of yourself (your natural intelligence) to do as it pleases?

    • At what phase of your life was this aspect of yourself most activated?

    • What was that chapter of your life like? What did you feel like?

    • If you were to give yourself a whole hour, or day, to simply liberate this aspect of yourself; what would you do? Where would you start?

  • What gets in the way of you being fully present?

    • What are the thoughts that tend to take you out of the moment?

    • How do these thought patterns show up (what triggers them?)

    • What do you usually do when they come up? Do you allow them to persist, reframe them or do you do something else?

    • What are the key distractions you reach for when you don’t want to be where you are?

    • When do you find yourself most often reaching for those distractions (or letting these thought patterns interrupt you?)

    • What do you sense that you are avoiding feeling in those moments?

    • What are you missing out on by not being present in those moments?

  • How can you bring love to these thoughts instead of tension?

    • What is the place that you think these thoughts are coming from? What is the desire or fear they represent?

    • Is there a way these thoughts might be trying to protect you?

    • How can you bring love to – or soothe – this desire or fear?

    • If someone else (say, a close friend) had this same thought pattern coming up or distraction taking them away from where they are, what would you try to say to them to bring them back to the present?

    • What words of comfort or encouragement would you offer this friend, experiencing the same distractions and thoughts that you are experiencing?

  • What is one idea you would love to see yourself express?

    • What is something that has been tugging on your psyche, asking to be given time or attention?

    • What excites you or inspires you about this idea (or about anything you find inspiring and energizing creatively! It can be someone else’s work if you don’t have an idea yet.)

    • What do you think it would feel like to bring this idea to life?

    • Why is this idea important to you to act on?

    • What advice would you give yourself that would help you act on this idea?

    • What would be the first step that you could take to start working on this idea?
